Petr Kopeček
Investment Manager for Startups
Petr Kopeček is passionate about new technologies and sustainable solutions. For the past nine years, he has been collaborating with the Point One ČZU business incubator, where he focuses on copywriting and supporting the local startup community.
Currently, he works as an investor and portfolio manager at Seed Starter, the investment fund of Česká spořitelna. Previously, he held multiple positions at CzechInvest, where he last led the Startup Acceleration Department and helped Czech companies expand into international markets.
He studied international relations, economics, and sustainable development. He is an avid traveler and a lover of contemporary art, particularly sculpture. His interests include technology, reading, swimming, sustainability, politics, TV series, and “those internets.” He never misses any news from the Czech startup world and always has a great recommendation for an interesting fact or a tech innovation.
